We are a non-denominational church.  Our vision statement is simple, "Win the Lost and Make Disciples".  Living a life for Jesus Christ is about a relationship not a religion.  At our church, we will not display a holier-than-thou attitude.  We are all broken people, but He is putting us back together.  At our church we believe that Jesus lived, died and rose again on the 3rd day.  We cannot and will not "candy coat" that message.  We invite you on a journey towards Jesus.  Buckle up and get ready for the ride of a lifetime!

What You Missed:

Another week has passed here at Destiny Fellowship and what a week it has been!  The week began with our Wednesday night Bible study, where we continued our study on the Book of Acts.  Pastor Kyle kicked off his new youth program on Wednesday night.  If you're a teen or kid come have fun with us this week as "Fusion" and "Destiny Kids" participate in "Water Wars".  On Saturday, I arrived at the church at 7:15 am and the lawn mowing crew was already hard at work mowing the church property.  Soon after that another crew of men showed up to tear down the deteriorating stone wall and wooden wall that bordered the prayer garden.  Now as most of you know, it was incredibly hot here on Saturday but both walls were down and loaded up onto the trailers by 1:30 pm.  Thank you to all the men, young and old alike, who helped make this workday a success. Pastor Paul's message on Sunday morning was titled: "You Wanna Do What?"  Pastor talked about how the Israelites after being freed from bondage wanted to return to Egypt when things started getting tough. Pastor remarked that it took God 2 days to get 3 million people out of Egypt but it took Him 40 years to get Egypt out of them.  God has a plan for each of us but sometimes, just like the Israelites, we want to go back and do things our own way.  We may not know what may lie ahead of us, but you don't have to understand in order to obey God.  Next week starts a 4 week series of "Got Questions? - God's Got Answers!"  If you're able to come, I encourage you to come experience this unique sharing of the Word!  If you are unable to make it, the podcast will be available each week to keep you up to date.  Everyone has a destiny!  Come and discover yours!!  Have a blessed week!!!
